St Andrew’s, ‘housing for all’ and the election of the London Mayor

Last July St Andrew’s, along with hundreds of churches, synagogues, mosques and other institutions across London, held a listening morning when we talked about what’s most important to us and to most Londoners – our need for more housing for Londoners, and for it to be affordable.

London Citizens,, who organised the over-all listening campaign, then helped us identify three things we wanted to ask the next mayor to take on:

  • To see that more affordable housing is built and made available
  • To get tough on rogue landlords
  • To set an ‘affordable rent’ to match the ‘living wage’.

Come with us to see what Sadiq Khan and Zac Goldsmith have to say.

London Citizens Mayoral Assembly at the Copper Box in the Olympic park, Thursday 28th April 6.30pm.

Ask the minister to reserve your seat and for details of how to travel together to the Assembly.
