4th April 2016 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Come to the Copper Box in the Olympic Park on 28th April to ask Sadiq Khan and Zac Goldsmith for more, cheaper, better housing for Londoners.
Last summer St Andrew’s, along with hundreds of churches, synagogues, mosques and other institutions, held a listening event to ask for members’ views on housing. London Citizens helped groups across London to come together and formulate three ‘asks’ of the new London Mayor – for
- More houses and flats to be available, cheaper
- Tougher action on rogue landlords
- Incentives for developers (for example, at Old Oak Common nearby) to provide more affordable housing.
6000 of us will be there to hear the answers. Seats are allocated by name, so let Maggie (maggie.hindley@londoninteerfaith.org.uk) know if you’d like to come. We will meet briefly in Queens Park at 4pm and travel together on the Overground to Stratford.
